Okay, so you have an idea of what you would like to embroidered, but the real question is – what should you put it on? Embroidery is a great option for many different types of apparels and merchandise, but there are a few things to be on the lookout for:
Pockets – We recommend placing your embroidery on a space that has a flat surface. Depending on the size and placement of the pocket, it may get sewn shut in the process. If you are unsure, please reach out to our team via email or phone!
Distressing – Is there a certain jean jacket or backpack that you want to put a logo or name on? Any areas that contain distressing would not be suitable for embroidery. With the distressing, the thread would not have enough solid support to stay in place in order to ensure a quality piece.
Raised Areas – Is there something you would like to put on an apparel with pleating, raised areas, ruffles, or other textures? We recommend talking with our team to discuss if your item would be a good option for embroidery. While embroidery CAN be done on any surface area, some raised areas may not be best suited.
Now that you have found the right product, it’s time to finalize your vision with the design. Would we be continuing with text or with a logo design?
Text – Once you have decided on the right text, font, and size, we can begin the embroidery process! (…..and you can skip to Step Six)
Logo / Image – If you are wanting a Logo or Image and have an embroidery file (.emb, .dst , please skip to Step Six)
If you do not have an embroidery file, no worries – we can make that happen! Let’s start with Step Three.
The quality of your embroidery can depend on the quality of your logo image. If the image has a lot of details, but is a small size, those details may not show properly with your embroidery. Please be sure to submit the highest quality image you have in any of the forms listed:
AI, PSD, EPS, PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG
Before we are able to create your embroidery file, we would need to confirm the size of the area to be embroidered. This is important to ensure the quality of the generated file.
This is the process of generating an embroidery specific file from the image provided. The file generated would be in a universal embroidery format! With our digitizing there are 2 free revisions.
Once everything has been confirmed, it is time to begin the embroidery process! If any thread colors need to be confirmed, that is the last step in the chain. Now, it’s time for you to sit back, relax, and let us handle the rest!
It is time to pick up your order 2-3 days later (or ~2 weeks if it is being delivered)! At pickup, you and your customer service representative will review your order and make sure you are happy with the result. We take pride in the quality of our work, and have a 100% satisfaction guarantee!
